# Video banner

### Configure video banner

Go to **Customize theme.** Click the dropdown menu at the top of the page and select the **Home page** template.

From the left side menu, select **“Video banner.”**

Customize this section by using the setting on the right side of the theme editor, as described in the following table:

It accepts YouTube or Vimeo links.<br><br><strong>Shopify hosted video</strong><br>Select the video available from the store files.<br><br><strong>Cover Image</strong><br>Add any image. <br>(Note: <em>1920 x 720px recommended. This cover image will not be visible if video autoplay is enabled.)</em><br><br><strong>Image overlay opacity</strong><br>Adjust the range bar to determine the overlay opacity above the image.<br><em>(Note: To change overlay color, edit the scheme "Image overlay background" color in the color scheme under theme settings.)</em><br><br><strong>Video behavior</strong><br>Choose the video behavior from the following options:<br>- Autoplay<br>- Play on click<br>(Note: If autoplay is enabled then video will be muted.)<br><br>Play button<br><strong>Text</strong><br>Enter the play button text.<br><br><strong>Style</strong><br>Choose the play button style from the following options:<br>- Fixed<br>- Float on hover<br>(Note: If autoplay is enabled then play button will not work.)</td></tr><tr><td>Content</td><td><p><strong>Heading</strong> </p><p>Add heading text. <br>(Note: Wrap your text between [ ] to add the markers font.)<br><br><strong>Markers font</strong><br>Choose the marker's font from the following options:<br>- Accent<br>- Body<br>- Heading<br><em>(Note: These fonts can be changed in theme settings>typography.)</em><br><br><strong>Marker text style</strong><br>Select the marker highlight style from the following options:<br>- None<br>- Text color<br>- Outline text<br>- Fill outline<br>- Text background color<br><br><strong>Heading size</strong><br>Select the heading size from the following options:<br>- XX- large<br>- X- large<br>- Large<br>- Medium<br>- Small<br>- X-small<br><br><strong>Heading tag</strong><br>Specify heading code types from H1-H6, div, span or p tag for SEO and search engines for crawling purposes.<br><br><strong>Description</strong> </p><p>Add description text.  <br><br><strong>Description text size</strong><br>Select the description text size from the following options:<br>- X- large<br>- Large<br>- Medium<br>- Normal<br>- Small<br>- X-small<br><br><strong>Vertical position</strong><br>Choose the content's position vertically from the following options:<br>- Top<br>- Middle<br>- Bottom<br></p><p><strong>Horizontal position</strong><br>Choose the content's position horizontally from the following options:<br>- Left<br>- Center<br>- Right</p><p><br><strong>Content alignment</strong><br>Choose the content alignment from the following options:<br>- Left<br>- Center<br>- Right<br><br><strong>Content width</strong><br>Select the content width from the following options:<br>-Small<br>-Medium<br>-Large<br><br><strong>Content visibility</strong><br>Choose the content visibility from the following options:<br>-Always<br>- Hide when video plays</p></td></tr><tr><td>Section spacing</td><td><p><strong>Desktop top space</strong></p><p>Adjust the range bar to add spacing at the top of the section for desktop view.  <br> </p><p><strong>Desktop bottom space</strong></p><p>Adjust the range bar to add spacing at the bottom of the section for desktop view. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Mobile top space</strong></p><p>Adjust the range bar to add spacing at the top of the section for mobile view. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Mobile bottom space</strong><br>Adjust the range bar to add spacing at the bottom of the section for mobile view. </p></td></tr></tbody></table>
