This is the bottom section of the webstore. You can use it to share brief information about your store and add navigation menus to help users navigate the web store seamlessly.
Configure footer section
Select the customize theme option. Click on the dropdown menu at the top of the page to select the Home page template.
From the left side menu, select Footer.
Customize the section by utilizing the setting on the right side of the theme editor, as described below;
Newsletter
Show newsletter Select this checkbox to show newsletter form on the footer. Heading Enter the heading text.
Content
Logo Choose any logo image from the store library. Desktop logo width Adjust the range bar to determine the logo width on the desktop view. Mobile logo width Adjust the range bar to determine the logo width on the mobile view. Description Enter any text for the store description. Description text size Select the font size from the following options: - Extra small - Small - Regular - Medium - Large - Extra large - Double Extra large
Localization
Enable country/region Select this check box to show the location/countries selector. ( Note: For more info, go through location and currency.) Show country flag Select this check box to show the country's flag in the selector. ( Note: For more info, go through location and currency.) Enable language selector Select this check box to show the language selector. ( Note: For more info, go through location and currency.) Enable Follow on Shop Select this checkbox to show 'Follow on Shop' button on the footer. For more information regarding this, go through this link. (Note: To allow customers to follow your store on the Shop app from your storefront, Shop Pay must be enabled.)
Footer bottom
Show copyright Select this checkbox to show copyright text. Custom copyright text Enter the copyright text.
Payment methods
Show payment icons Select this checkbox to show the payment icons. These can be enabled from the Shopify payments.
Section spacing
Desktop top space
Adjust the range bar to add spacing at the top of the section for desktop view.
Desktop bottom space
Adjust the range bar to add spacing at the bottom of the section for desktop view.
Mobile top space
Adjust the range bar to add spacing at the top of the section for mobile view.
Mobile bottom space Adjust the range bar to add spacing at the bottom of the section for mobile view.
Block settings
Menu list
Width Adjust the range bar to determine the width of column. Menu Select any menu to display its first-level menus in the footer. Heading Add text to appear as the title.
Social media
Width Adjust the range bar to determine the width of column. (Note: To display your social media accounts, link them in your theme settings.) Heading Add text to appear as the title of social media links. Enable social links Select this checkbox to show the social media links. Display mode Choose the display mode of social media from below options: - Icons only - Text only - Both Merge into block Choose from the following options to merge blocks: - Don't merge - Block 1 - Block 2 - Block 3 - Block 4 - Block 5 Important notes: Visibility of Merged Blocks If Block 1 and Block 2 are merged, and Block 1 is subsequently hidden, then both blocks will become hidden. The visibility of the merged block depends on the visibility status of the primary block. Merging Limitations A block cannot be merged into another block that has already been merged into a different one.
Example: If Block 2 is merged into Block 1, and you attempt to merge Block 3 into Block 2, Block 3 will not be visible as the system does not support multi-level or nested merging.
Store information
Width Adjust the range bar to determine the width of column. Heading Add text to appear as the title. Information Add text to appear as the description. Merge into block Choose from the following options to merge blocks: - Don't merge - Block 1 - Block 2 - Block 3 - Block 4 - Block 5 Important notes: Visibility of Merged Blocks If Block 1 and Block 2 are merged, and Block 1 is subsequently hidden, then both blocks will become hidden. The visibility of the merged block depends on the visibility status of the primary block. Merging Limitations A block cannot be merged into another block that has already been merged into a different one.
