# Media with text overlay

### Configure the section

Go to **Customize theme**. Click the dropdown menu at the top and select the **Home page** template.

From the left side menu, select **Media with text overlay**.

Customize this section by using the setting on the right side of the theme editor, as described in the following table:

These colors can be managed in the assigned color scheme.<br><br><strong>Layout</strong><br>Choose the section's layout from following options:<br>- Tilt<br>- Normal<br><br><strong>Background image</strong><br>Choose any image from the store library, for the section background.<br><br><strong>Overlay opacity</strong><br>Adjust the range bar to determine the overlay opacity above the image. <br><em>(<strong>Note</strong>: To change overlay color, edit the scheme "Image overlay" color in the color scheme under theme settings.)</em></td></tr><tr><td>Content</td><td><p><strong>Heading</strong><br>Add heading text. <br><em>(<strong>Note</strong>: Wrap text in [] for stroke, () for gradient, ++ for line break and use bold to change the font family and use italic for gradient bg.)</em><br><br><strong>Heading size</strong><br>Select the heading size from the following options:<br>- XX- large<br>- X- large<br>- Large<br>- Medium<br>- Small<br>- X-small<br><br><strong>Heading tag</strong><br>Specify heading code types from H1-H6, div, span or p tag for SEO and search engines for crawling purposes.<br><br><strong>Bold text font family</strong><br>Choose the bold text's font family from the following options:</p><p>- Heading <br>- Body <br>- Accent <br>(<em><strong>Note</strong>: These fonts can be changed in theme settings>typography.)</em><br><br><strong>Markers font family</strong><br>Choose the markers text font family from the following options:</p><p>- Heading <br>- Body <br>- Accent <br>(<em><strong>Note</strong>: These fonts can be changed in theme settings>typography.)</em><br><br><strong>Description</strong><br>Enter the description text.<br><br><strong>Description size</strong><br>Select the description size from the following options:<br>- X- large<br>- Large<br>- Medium<br>- Normal<br>- Small<br>- X-small<br>- XX-small<br><br><strong>Content alignment</strong><br> Choose the content alignment from the following options: <br>- Left <br>- Center <br>- Right<br><br><strong>Content width</strong><br>Choose the content width from the following options:<br>- Small<br>- Medium<br>- Large<br>- Full width</p></td></tr><tr><td>Media</td><td><strong>Radius</strong><br>Adjust the range bar to determine the radius of media.<br><br><strong>Image</strong><br>Choose any image from the store library.<br><em>(Note: It will work as cover image for YouTube and Vimeo video.)</em><br><br><strong>Video</strong><br>Choose any video from the store library.<br><br>Embed video from URL<br><strong>URL</strong><br>Add any link of the Youtube or Vimeo video.<br><br><strong>Overlay opacity</strong><br>Adjust the range bar to determine the overlay opacity above the image. <br><em>(<strong>Note</strong>: To change overlay color, edit the scheme "Image overlay" color in the color scheme under theme settings.)</em><br><br><strong>Enable autoplay</strong><br>Select this checkbox to enable autoplay of the video.<br><em>(Note: Video are muted automatically to allow autoplay.)</em><br><br><strong>Enable video looping</strong><br>Select this checkbox to enable video looping.<br><br><strong>Video fit</strong><br>Choose the video fit from the following options:<br><strong>- Natural-</strong> It contains the media within the bo<strong>x.</strong><br><strong>- Cropped-</strong> It covers the media.<br><br><strong>Desktop media width</strong><br>Choose the media width from the following options:<br>- Small<br>- Medium<br>- Large<br></td></tr><tr><td>Icon settings</td><td><strong>Link</strong><br>Add link to redirect the icon.</td></tr></tbody></table>
